Wow, look at all these children's books we collect! And toys! The Gibbs family collects vintage children's books & interesting toys. My husband and I scour old bookstores and thrift shops - it's our favorite hobby. We especially love sci-fi, westerns, old Scott-Foresman readers and other old school books, but they're really expensive and hard to find too! We love books showing old-time activities like milking cows, riding hay wagons, feeding chickens, and stuff like that. Old toys too - anything in the 1950s or 60s or even before! We display them around our house out in the country. Even our teenage boys have gotten excited about finding special old books.
